noisy power steering pump

I'm fixin to replace the pump on my 03 4.0 sohc .
What is a good quality pump to use. Motorcraft is OK albeit pricey. I've heard some nasty tales about pumps replaced with aftermarket stuff. What name brand and where to get? Just want to do this once.

If you can get new, that's the best route. Otherwise, most pumps on the market are A1-Cardone reman's. I believe NAPA is now selling a new line, not sure the availability nor cost. Others may have them too.

There are no "name brands", just known brands.

Yeah I Was just in a Napa and the guy said they've stopped using Cardone remans
Due to too many returns. I might just go with the napa
Not many other choices really
