Hey guys, i'm in need of some help. After replacing every other partin my brake system, it's still acting up (won't go into details right now), and the last link of the chain is my ABS pump. My question is, can i simply replace the pump with a primary brake splitter off of a non-ABS model? Where can i find one, other than a dealer? Sorry if this has been asked before, i did some seariching and used the google search of this site up top, and couldn't find anything on the subject. Any help is greatly appreciated!

the "barrack obama is sas-sy" or whatever it's called thread has the info

yes, you can remove it and redo the lines etc.

your 93 ex model year was available with non abs brakes
the 91-92 models typicallt have RWABS I believe

So you can get he lines you need to by pass the RBS or 4WABS valve from a donor at a junk yard for cheap
then buy a new non abs master cyl if its required and bolt it in

The next step is to remove the ABS computer and wiring if you want to go that far

Blamo no ABS

Thanks for the help! I'll try to track one down in the near future.

Well i've finally found one for a ranger/ BII, and i see it has a plug on the top of it. Is this a sensor? Does it NEED to be plugged in to the proportioning valve? I need to know quickly, as i have to do something soon, this is my only car right now, and my brake problem seems to be getting worse as i drive.

Well heres the deal, i put my old (bendix, aftermarket) master cylinder back on, and the problem is solved, i have full, consistant pedal, and no loss of pressure stops (yeah, they were getting more frequent). The thing is, i had barely any brake when i bought this thing, so the first thing i did was go to the junkyard and buy a master cylinder off an old exploder there to test and make sure that wasn't the problem. I put it on, and had no change in brake, so i left it on. I changed the pads and rotors, and shoes in the back, then bled all the fluid through the system, to ensure there was no air bubbles, or old brake fluid left. Thanks for the help anyway guys!!

Good for you. BTW another ABS unit isn't hard to come by or swap. I have some 1993 parts left.
