good luck most of us save our money and hit up yard sales or craigslist

If you think it's hard to start, just wait, it gets harder as you go. This is not something that can be done cheaply & safely.

Most everybody sells their old stuff to help pay for their new stuff. Nobody can really afford to just give them away.

Good luck to you in your endeavor.

sponsor me too,
i already spent about $20 k on all my off road shiz,,
but i need more,,

dang lol i was hoping there would be some rich people out there like oh snap yeah here yuh go hahah but no ill probably end up going to junkyards cuz we all know there are dumb people who dont know how to take care of their cars that end up bringing them there lol

we live in the junkyards searching for parts we can use or we just build it ourselves

The best way to learn about, and trade for parts is to hang out with other members. Heck, if you help a guy out with his axle swap he might just give you a lift kit he's throwing out-things happen.

I'd recommend finishing school, and in your spare time look for where you can learn by reading on this forum. doing so will put you in a place where you will be reading about your neighbor needing a hand. There is your ticket into a brotherhood.

We often give things away between each other, but not quite in this manner.
In other words--

When you arrive at the party, say hi to everyone, then ask how they are doing. Wait for them to show you the keg--don't ask where it is. Get it ?

Good luck, and be safe.

thanks man appreciate it do you know of any people in the fredericksburg area in virginia and yeah i finished school lol im looking for jobs if anybody knows of one of those that are open too ill take one of them lol and yeah what would be the best thing to get first on my explorer after i get the tires...?

Make sure you are up to date on maintenance. Trans fluid, filters, etc... Check over all the front end parts. No point in spending hundreds on a lift, skid plates, push bars and stuff if you are going to be stranded because you broke down. I had to take a little break on mods to catch up on some repairs but its worth it in the end.

But with that said go with lift, it can be done pretty cheap. TT/ and shackle or AAL and pair up the new tires to fit that lift (31x10.50s)

yeah i just got my fluids changed i need to flush the radiatior and everything else is fine on it even though it has 165,000 miles on it but it runs like a champ im just worried that if i do any upgrades to the engine it will put the timing belt out of whack but in the future i will be moving down to virginia beach and i will put a stroker small block 350 in it but thats aways down the road and i just want to get it running and looking good before i make it in to a big toy cuz for right know its a daily driver but everything on it works fine other than the cd changer lol but that isnt really a big problem

woops ment timing chain

...i seriously dont care about the grammer you got what i was saying... i dont do grammer unless im doing a paper and i dont have to that anymore... but enough about that what lift size would you recommend? cuz im thinking 4 inch and a size 33 tire

Another hint for you.

I will take the time to type an answer to a question which is typed well. Your education is something to be proud of so if you indeed finished school, show me you are smarter than I am.

If you want answers to your questions, conduct yourself like an adult and take the time to check your spelling and punctuation. It does matter!

yes sir. I am trying to figure out which lift and tires would go best for starters. Would a 3.5 inch body lift work with a 33inch tire?

What they are saying is that if you take the time to make your post easy to read, you will get lots of helpful folks kicking in. If you do not, you will not.

they only make up to a 3 inch body lift,, after that they are unsafe,

use the search function on the upper header to get all the info you need,,
