OHC lights (not working)

has anyone had any problems with the lights on working in your OHC? if i push on them they will work and what not but they just dont work right, im going to go try to get a new OHC light unit tonight from the junk yard but what causes this, that is if anyone else has experianced this problem?

i dont have an OHC but if u push on the light then it comes on? sounds like a bad wire, probably a bad ground, or maybe a messed up bulb? my one trailer light does that just gotta wiggle it and it turns back on, maybe try replacing the bulbs before u get a new OHC

What in the world does the type of engine have to do the lights? Do the SOHC Explorers have a different harness than the OHV models?

What are you pushing to make your lights turn on?

OHC = Over Head Console.

im pushing the actual thing thing that you turn to take the bulb out. i got a new OHC from the junk yard today but it is a newer one and does not have the same connectors so im goign to have to figure somthing out here.

before u cut the connectors off, figure out what wire goes to what (they may even be labled) and start cutting and splicing
