Oil level sender--effect o ecm?

Ok, in this thread pages 2-end we are swapping a 96 engine into 92, using the 92 upper and harness.

Well, the 96 engine has no "low oil level" sender in the side of the pan. We disconnected the 92 sender and have routed the wire.

Will this affect the ecm at all? If so it is just a matter of open and closed state to "bypass" it?

I cannot find it in my wire diagram, from Chilton's manual. Help would be appreciated. Thanks
 






I think those are only for the dash light, not connected to the PCM other than for the light.

Could you not use the old 92 pan to keep the level sender if he wants it? I bought a new 302 oil pan that has the sender, to match my 98 truck.
