Yeah its a 93-97 ranger air dam. I got it for about 44 bucks shipped after market I forgot the website. I also shaved the roof rack, and the rear windshield wiper.

I like that. Very original.

Damn good! Well done!

Did you make any adjustment to make that Ranger Airdam fit right?

I think that i might have considered the option of painting the bottom to match too. But it looks great as it is...

What bottom I painted everything, door handles, mirrors, front and rear bumpers, I even did the door jams which I never want to do again, pain in the ass to re-aline.

X~FACTOR No I just bolted it in even used the same bolts from the stock air damn. It just bends when you install it and fits perfect. I did have to drill two holes in the bumper but nothing big.

Also anyone else think I should go back to my clears or stay with the smokes.

Smokes.

I was refering to the original thread poster, unclemeat.

ok, anyone else think I should stay with the smokes or should I go back to clears.

What will the final color be?

I like the contrast of the black on the green. The wheels are black. The bottom (rocker panels) were painted stock with rubberized undercoadting, and is very easy to repair. The undercarrige is now black. The door handles should have been painted.

holy crap!!!

good job guys, those things look excellent

Here's a better pic of my paint job.

No, i'm just trying to show case what you other guys could do if you follow this write up. Like I have been saying, its a great write up and anyone who wants to try to paint there X follow this write up, it was my first time ever painting a truck and look how I did, thanks to unclemeat.

I'm painting my black trim today, after the final coat is there anything I can put on the paint to extend it's life and prevent it from weathering? It is spray can paint, could I wax it?

You could spray some clear coat, i'm not sure if they make it for spray cans but I think you could find some. I don't see a problem with waxing the paint either, just make sure its dry.

There is clear coat in spray can form, works pretty good, just remember to let the spray paint cure a good long time before being too rough with it, or waxing it. I find the spray bomb stuff is softer longer, since its not a two part paint.
