So whats the story on the race it will be in?
You guys did a real great job on that car. I am sure it will inspire many. Cant wait to see it at the track.

Nice work!

sick as always. i wanna see some time slips. ;) :D

It didn't go to the dyno today, we had a charging problem lastnight, so we'll work out some more bugs and then take it to the dyno next week.

James, it's not set up for quater mile sir.

Fatherford, next week, we're using someone else's computer right now to move it around, it need a full program before we can baseline test the car, prior to it's next set of bolt on's, too lean and "pop" so it's better to be safe than broke.

Turbonotch, the car is to run in the 40th Mustang Anninversery, Celebrity Race, in Tenn. on April 17th

I wish I could post the high res photos of under the car and under the hood, and even then you still can't get the effect, in this case the photos can only do so much, in person you get the 3-d effect and able to see just how packed, close and tight everything fits.

Reminds me of the Rubix cube.

So is this car gonna be street legal?
Also who all is gonna be in the mustang celebrity race: Tim Allen, Steve Saleen, ????

What other "bolt ons" will it be getting? Is it gonna get screwed?

I'll say it's packed in!! Looks good though. Kinda reminds me the way the old 427's fit in the late 60's Mustangs...Hey, do ya gotta lift the motor to change the plugs in this one??? :burnout:

No because, the plugs are housed just under the covers on top of the valve covers (hemi style)

But your right it's packed, it's one of thoes cars where to get at one thing you have to remove five things first.

as far as I know interally stock.....

no six-speeed there....auto with 9'', kenne bell, 75hp shot...

Now all though these are drag cars, the same power plant can drive the same amount of power down to the ground if harnessed right AND can be an extremly foramatible road race car, imagine a 2.1 mile track and pulling out of turn whatever and hammering on it down the back straight...........

BTW, yes as some of you noticed it does have an automatic in it w/a manual valve body and trans brake, with an hours worth of work (spring changes and wheels and tires) this could be easaly be set up to run the quarter mile.

If your still not sure how easy it is to get performance out of and 03' Cobra watch this vid and the dyno numbers vs the bolt on part this guy puts on:

Jeff, you are truly a master craftsman. This car is a fine piece of work. I hope you'll be able to do more of these some day...just maybe not at such a hellish pace. ;)

weres the video of your stang in action ?

First time I've seen this thread. Very nice work. I'd love to drop a Cobra motor in a notchback, but I don't have that kind of change yet. I feel for the person who did the wiring :( . What's the most difficult motor swap you've done?
