not a third gen but the best i could find

ive thought about doing that but then id be closer to the "murdered" look that i hate so much ... tint will come later and if i get black and machined wheels thats even more black ... seems like slowly but surely im doing what i despise lol

Murdered?

Well then, that is my goal, LOL!

lol, beat me to it. I looked for over 6 months for something I liked, and I liked a lot of the mustang rims, problem being they were 17" and I was looking for 20's. I ended up with tsw interlagos, but I think the neurenbergs are the same type of rim, forged center I think, so even the 20" * 8 is around 23lbs.

I got the black ones, because I'm going for that look, but if you look at real pictures of the silver ones, they look off the charts better than stock photos.

I had that same dilemma and still do sort of. I hated the "murdered" look or the white truck black wheels look.

But that's why I love the explorer...most vehicles, cars or suv's dont have any "trim" like we do and it helps break up the main color of the truck. I still at this time do not want to paint my trim black, but am now considering spraying my running boards with bedliner paint, so i'll have the black paint, grey trim and them black again. (I have same color and trim as yours).

And I had always hated the white truck black wheels as well, and now that is the sceme i plan on going with when i hopefully buy a new F250.

going to be a LONG WHILE till I get mine. I did the build and price and it was around $55,000

That's about right lol...I am so far away from that it's not even funny. Although I can get Fords at dealer cost :)

I need to do work on my EX and purchase a plow truck for next winter before I can think about a new F250

prob be cheaper to get a green deer with a plow.

or a shovel duct taped on the front of the x :D

Hey armysoldier, didn't you used to live at fort benning? I see it says your at shaw afb now, are you going to actually go off road over there, lol

i cant find anywhere to play lol its all sandy dirt which doesnt even make mud ... but i cant play in the x i rub the rear axle coming out of driveways ... and slap the knuckles on the coil springs quite frequently ... i feel like driving a hot wheels car (no suspension) but when i do find somewhere to play i WILL be taking my z71

anybody got any other wheel options for me?

I was going to go for some mustang wheel derivatives (plenty of 17"s in the stock line) my personal faves were the cobra & saleen wheels, until I found out how much they weighed in replica 20"s.

i dont think mustang wheels are the look im going for ... already running mud terrains lol
