P0171 Anybody like to solve puzzles?

So I have this P0171 Code. This code showed up after I took the intake manifold off, to repair a wire to the cooling sensor. Wire repaired, cooling code gone, replaced with P0171. Vacuum hose are strong, no sign of leaking

Had to re-install an old EGR valve due to forcing the pipe and forcing the intake upper plenum into place (I think).

How to solve this puzzle:

a) You need to reset and torque down the upper plenum

b) Both EGR valves are bad, however one makes the rough idle worse

c) See b) and look at EGR pipe also

d) Upper plenum gaskets

e) Who the hell really knows - add an answer!

Probably needs new gaskets, once used they may not reseal well.

I just reset mine codes don't reappear for about a year or when it gets cold cold only effects it once.

Mild temps here, and I do even have two mismatched gaskets on the upper plenum. Lowers are good. At least the gaskets are cheap. I try cheap first ;-) Thanks! -DW
