I got her apart; cleaned / rebuilt the injectors. I didn't find any that were sticky or leaky, this doesn't necessarily surprise me since it's been such an intermittent problem. Hopefully cleaning & exercising the injectors makes a difference. I did make sure I kept the injectors on the same side.
I did the burb test as noted above before dismantling, none of the spark plugs were wet.
I'm attaching a picture of one of the intake ports. Most were coated in black soot, this one is a brownish color. Not sure what that means.
Removing the intake is a pain with all the hoses attached.
Lastly, is there a source for the coolant pipes that lay on top of the lower intake from the water pump to the heater hoses and hoses to the intake? I've got some rust there and am unable to find the part listed on rockauto.
The plan is to put her back together and test drive tonight. I'll follow up.
