P2107, P0607

Am having identical problems with my ford. The same 2 codes you initially posted P060B and P2107. Same shutting off, etc. Did you ever get it resolved?
The issue with the codes never resurfaced, but I re-taped up some wiring to the MAF sensor so I'm not sure if that was the culprit. Since then, I had an idling issue that would cause the vehicle to idle very low and almost stall. That turned out to be, what I believe, was an issue with a minor exhaust leak that I had repaired.

Thank you, man!

Time to hunt down the electrical gremlins again. Same two codes popped up last week, along with the CEL and wrench symbol and the vehicle shut down. I replaced the PCV valve the week prior and am wondering if I pulled that electrical connector too hard or something. Also replaced the air filter so perhaps I messed with the MAF sensor cord too much and stirred up something. I did notice the connector to the EGR valve has bare wires showing but it is in an awkward place to get to, so will probably have the mechanic replace that connector too. The shielding used on these wires is so brittle!
