Painting bumpers and trim

I'm fixing my bumpers
I'm tired of looking at them

Now I'm not a pro lady's and gentlemen
Sorry for my basement its been pouring down rain
I probably bought the wrong paint but I'm gonna give this a go

I did mine / same front bumper.... had half a can of "plastic cladding coating" left over from doing jeep side cladding.

That flexible paint from Sem should work great! They look soooooo much better black
And the way you are Doing it this color will last for years. Mine were still nice and black after several years
I removed the rear plastics from the bumper to paint they Unclip from underneath, that part is a big pita and when you clip it back down it does not always hold.. well unless you use 3m trim adhesive or e6000 hobby glue

Por15 has no uv protection and will turn dull grey
Unless they have updated it?

I use chassis saver from magnet paints instead ( same people make monstaliner)

It soaked in to the metal
Only negative is you will smell it for the first drive until it gets warm under the truck

Blaster Surface Shield is a relatively new rust preventative that has gotten outstanding reviews. It works like Fluid Film but sticks much better and is very resistant to being washed off. It will stick better to areas like the front facing sides of the differential, axle shaft housing, front suspension components etc. that get hit hard with water and debris. Home Depot sells it by the can but Amazon sells it by the case too. It is made by Blaster Corp. The same company that makes PB B'laster etc.

Surface Shield® Rust Protectant - B'laster Products

This isn't to take anything away from Fluid Film. It is a very good product too. I imagine they will all upgrade their formulas to match Surface shield at some point.

Looks nice! I don't have paint coming off, but going to try either Black Pearl or Renew/Protect on all my dull black trim. After I change oil, and get the ball joint/sway bar link done at a shop.

Nothing is more Comfy in the summer then a real pair of crocs

Here we have two seasons boots and crocs

Black makes everything auto trim look new again

+1 for the crocs... super nice... in most situations I was helping ref at a youth basketball game today and a kid wore crocs ont he court! (He changed to shoes when he realized)
