Just trying to put together a run, the weekend after that is the swap meet and the weekend after the swap meet is the monthy ride for Oct. so the weekend of the 18th-19th is the best time. Whos in?

Chris, me & jeff has already talked about this privately. The 18th/19th isn't good for them.. Hows your schedule for the previous weekend? We definately need to get some runs in.. Ideally I think we should be able to make some runs atleast once a month if not twice.

That's the one weekend in Sept. that I currently have booked. Helping a family friend move that weekend.......Any other would probably be good....

OK, how bout the 11th/12th? the weekend b4 that ill be away.

If it's the 11/12th, I'll go.. that's my floating paycheck week;)

FYI, I'm camping at Red Ridge if there's good weather- or at that cheap@$$ whatchamacallit Motel if it's gonna rain.

In the event I don't have my truck ready (which will be more likely than not), anyone have a spare seat open I could borrow??

I haven't been to PAP yet....
How would I do with 31's with 1.5" lift & Bilstein shocks?
OH, and I have the 3.73 LSD...

Bring it on  !! I ran my X like that many times at Paragon. Paragon has enough trails from mild to wild to suit any vehicle.

BTW, 11/12 looks fine here :D

that weekend would probabaly work for me, that way i can go see my girlfriend up there too. i have no real work schedule and the explorer is just sitting anyway, seems like a good excuse to take it out of the garage. keep me posted and looking at it right now, i think i can go.

the 11th and 12th?

sounds like it's doable for me... lemme put it on the calender ....

Karol

I'm thinking... since it's the weekend of 9/11, we should all wear Red White an blue. Maybe do something more? Any ideas?

How about a spectator for the 12th? Not gonna 4x4 the Trac, but for as long as Paragon has been 25 minutes from my house, I've never gone there. Of course, being away at school didn't help.

Jeff - I'll be making the trek across I80, but on Saturday night. If you're going late or such, let me know and we'll caravan.

Yo guys, i go to villanova and my buddy and I have been looking to do some runs at paragon. What exactly would we have to do to join you guys on the run? sign ups and stuff? Thanks

- Brian

Hey Adam, how about you give me the keys to that gorgeous Sport Trac of yours so I can uh... hold them for safekeeping while we're on the trail? Yeah, safekeeping, that's it.... :D

BrianB, just show up. You'd be amazed how many people skip that all important fact :p We evaluate the level of driver experience and the capability of your Ford once everyone's together to determine what difficulty trails to run.

Just curious, does one have to RSVP at Red Ridge? I don't remember ever doing it, but it *has* been almost a year...

I can't make the 11th...but so far I'm up for the 12th...I could be there early before we hit the trails if that's cool....
How much cash is involved in something like this?
Oh, and another thing...I have NO trail equipment what so ever...well except my X! Will that be a problem? Well, I do have a tow strap, but that's about it....

You need front & rear tow points & full size spare tire.. We also request that you have a CB radio or FRMS radios or whatever they're called for communication on the trails. I believe it costs $35 to get in but I'm not 100% sure..

yes you could limp out on a 29" tire

but if you have L/S in the rear I wouldn't put that spare in the rear. I would take it easy on the trails and take alot of the bypasses over the worst of them.... I am sure that someone has a 31" spare for just such an emergency.. but check with who is going.... you could use the 31" spare to get you out and put on the 29" to get you to the station....

Karol

I think I have a 31" spare laying around somewhere.. Hopefully you don't cut the sidewall or anything but if you just blow a bead or just get a flat, we can plug it & fill it back up. I got my onboard air tank working perfectly.. I guess soldering all the questions was the best thing to do.. Damn thing must have vibrated so much that it loosened all the fittings.

Cool....I'll try to make it.
Can someone check the link in my post above for the tow hooks and let me know it those will work on an X?
