PATS and PCM switch between vehicles

Is it possible to switch the PCM from another truck if you also switch the ignition lock cylinder and keys from the doner?

yes you can. you will also want to swap the PATS module as well

PATS Module? I don't suppose it has a sticker on that says PATS?

Actually I believe it does. If you take the passenger side airbag out you will see it

Make sure it's the same engine and model year.
As for the advice to replace the 'PATS module' (called PATS controller by Ford), I believe that this is a rather dumb bus interface. Couldn't hurt to replace it too, but probably not needed - the code information is in the PCM memory.
