PCV valve woes

So, would it just be easier to remove the intake manifold? I know some guys are like piece of cake, but I can't find it and if I have to change the grommet out, seems like it would just be easier to remove the manifold first. Little bit of work to save a lot of frustration.
 






The problem here is, you will probably need to plug the hose back in with the upper installed. Also, removing the egr tube can sometimes prove impossible.

It is a bugger to reach down there to find it, maybe a small mirror would help?
 






Probably just pay the money. Let someone else waste their time. Money well spent in my eyes, lol
 






You need to come in with your left hand. It is straight down behind the back bolt on the upper intake. There's a bracket holding the harness. Bend that bracket inward a ways and you can get your hand down there. I'm not a small guy and I did mine.

This will explain it. The pcv is easy. The grommet is hell. If the pcv fits tightly into the grommet, leave the grommet.
