Is there any reason I could not use this on my Ex with a 5.0? same motor and stuff. dealer says no but, why not? its a 5.0!

have you done any other modifications? A 75mm throttle body is pretty big. And without an aftermarket intake manifold it's not going to do much for you . The elbow and intake port on the intake are under 70mm in diameter so without making those bigger your just moving the bottleneck.

Work from back to front. If you don't have exhaust/TM headers to get the air out of the engine, there is no sense in trying to force more in... You'll get minimal gain.

Well I do have 2 hi flow rear cats and true duals with glass packs. I have a custom K&N air filter set up with a 14" long by 6 dia. filter on there. I am also considering a rebuild 20 thou. over with a cam 2 steps above stock. I am prolly gonna do the rebuild because of price and warranty. I have 194,000 on it now. Its a 5.0. The price is 2100.00 installed! Joe Dirt knows about this place I think..Accurate Engines Thats un believable. Also the intake port on upper plenum CAN be ported with a dremel tool to match TB, What is stock sized TB anyow? 65mm? Would 70mm be better?

If you have stock headers, you're still limited by the most limiting part of the stock exhaust...

stock is 65mm, the stock elbow and manifold can't be ported past 70mm if I remember right, if the elbow can even be opened up that much. And as Joe Dirt said without as set of torque monster headers everything else is a waste of money.

Unfortunately, the guy at Accurate said that the warranty would be voided if I put the TM's on!
