Just finished fixing a stripped wheel stud and replacing the parking brake shoes so I took some pictures. This is The Beast as she sits right now with bedliner where the tupperware used to be:

Yup, I'de be a complete pic **** too if I had a rig like that!

Very nice, why didn't you go with the Kevlars? If you don't mind me asking that is.

I'm confused, what do you mean by kevlars?

nice x u got there rave

I'm confused, what do you mean by kevlars?

I think he is referring to your tires. Some types of tires come with Kevlar reinforced sidewalls.

What lift do you have on there? Really like the stance.

RaveDigger, nice Ex you got there. I see that you are in Groton. Where do you go wheeling? Thanks.

Thanks guys, it's just the three inch body lift from Performance Accessories. I picked these tires because they got good reviews and I think they look pretty badass. Believe it or not I haven't even gone wheeling yet because I don't really know of any legal places to go around here, but I've been talking to an off-road club from the area and will be going on a run with them in a few weeks.

Wow, just the 3'' BL? It looks like your body is higher off that ground than mine and I have the 3'' BL and TT/Shackles. Damn you! :D

Ahhh sorry, I forgot about the TT and shackles. I guess technically it's more like 4 inches if you include those as well.

The only other time I've ever heard an antenna called an aerial was on a super expensive Bang and Olufsen radio with a retractable aerial/antenna. Is it a Canadian term and I'm just not cultured enough to know?

Either way, it's a 5' Firestick that I bought from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000X3EP7I/ref=oss_product

What's nice is that it's got a tunable tip which makes it easy to adjust the length to your specific vehicle/cb combo. More info on tuning your CB (probably more than anyone will ever need) is on Firestick's website: http://www.firestik.com/Tech_Docs.htm

The antenna will still need a mount. I bought this one from a local radio shop: http://www.universal-radio.com/catalog/hamantm/0978.html

I also put a spring in between the antenna and the mount so that the antenna flexes when I go through the Dunkin' Donuts drive-through. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00042LC9M/ref=oss_product

I think I also needed this, but I can't remember if the mount came with one or not: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0002HRBSU/ref=oss_product

Anything else you want to know, feel free to ask.

Yup.. Cdn term. We call them cb aerial up here. Antenna would be for a sterio instead. For most of us canucks.. it is interchangeable. Z up here is pronounced Zed... no Zee.
:-)

Thanks for the info.. I will buy em.

Where did you pick up those fender flares?

Where did you pick up those fender flares?

I actually just removed the stock flares and filled the holes with plastic plugs from home depot, then painted over the whole thing with roll-on bedliner.

Nice lookin ride!

Nice looking Sport! Makes me miss mine even more!

Yeah I'm starting to hate the plastic trim myself, I may have to do what you did there. Where'd you get the bedliner and how much did it run you?
