Pilot H13 Hi/Low HID

Anyone using these? Price looks a little too good to be true - $209. I called the customer service and they really couldn't answer my questions.

The Hi beam is a halogen light atatched to the HID base, does the HID stay on when the hi beam is selected? If the HID stays on w/ the helogen, is the kit directly wired to the battery?

How do they deal with the computer thinking the you have a burned out bulb w/ HID - they didn't know of a solution

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Guess the computer can be told that the bulbs are okay when you use an additional resistor switched parallel to the HID-ballast for rising the current to the level a normal bulb would take.

179 shiped unles you live in ca then they charge tax. but the have a sorta duel bulb for our h13 bulbs
