I don't think any of us will have been there before, which is why the suggestion to just stick with the trails was brought up.

Dan

Just a thought guys-- both those places i listed in the pines are accessible by access roads that a stock honda can make it down. Once you're in the 'areas of interest' there's hills to climb, mud holes to go through, etc. Also, if anyone cares about scratches there's nothing to worry about- both the access roads are plenty wide.

In wharton, its all just access roads to drive around on and some of the trails require you to go through deep mud or turn around. My first time to wharton we ended up getting lost and my buddy got stock so bad we had to leave his truck there overnight. There's really not much to do there for stock rigs imo, except drive on dirt roads. Take a look using googleearth or try maps.live.com ... no big open 'pits' like what i showed.

ok,,but is it the pine barrens/whatron state park??

or is it lebanon state park?either one im up for

the "Pine Barrons" are all of southern NJ.

Wharton State park is further south than Lebanon and Site-X.

Take 206 South from Rt 70 and you'll eventually get to Wharton.
Lebanon state park is on Rt 70.
Site-X is off of Rt 539 (near the Lacey area)

Different sites, all 'Pine Barrons'

see,im use to goin over here in philly,we all used to go down near the philly internaional airport but we almost got caught and its government property so we stopped goin, ive never been to any of the ones in jersey yet

Hmmmm....maybe we stick to the plan sk1er laid out, then.

I'll try and figure it all out tonight while I'm at work, and then hopefully we can nail down all the details, start getting everyone's phone numbers and solidify a meeting spot and time. Stay tuned.

my # is 267-25-8788 my name is john

The red circle is the WAWA that would be a good meeting spot for Lebanon and Site-X wheeling.

If you guys go to Wharton, you should meet somewhere on Route 206 (West side of the state instead of the East side)

Took me a half hour but here's the address of the Wawa I circled in red above in case anybody needs to GPS/Mapquest it.

1201 ROUTE 70 WEST
WHITING, NJ 08759

NOTE: Mapquest calls it "highway 70"

I'm looking at a 2 hour drive myself.

Awesome job Andy. Alright I guess we'll just follow the plan laid out by sk1er - it gives us more options and they are places he has been before and we won't have to worry about getting in over our heads. We can all meet at the Wawa (mapquest it using the address Andy posted) and then head to either "site X" or Lebanon. If we finish up there and have time to poke our way over to Wharton, we can do that, too.
