Pine Barrens/Southern NJ Run in April

Hrmm....

I was actually hoping for someone else to be familiar with the terrain and lead, I've never been.

I'm mostly looking for semi-stock trails, I've only got 31s and it's my DD.

CB's are very good to have... which reminds me I need a new antenna ASAP.

Well I'm completely stock...hope I'm not gonna be holding anyone up. No big trails for me. WOn't have the lift and 33's till June sometime.

Check out the link I posted earlier...maybe that place? I could place a call.

my list of people/vehicles is Pat-stock 96, Joe(me) shotgun, Brian-81 cj7 on 35s(maybe) and Tim-88 F250 on 35s(maybe)..thats it so far....

Never been on anything like this. How does it work? You guys just hit some trails for the day and drive them? You stop and eat in the woods? How much is it?
How far is it form NYC? Let me read back and get the location. I would love to do something like this, but my 02 stock and hope not to wimpy for this. Is this something I can bring my wife and 3yo daughter to, or its guys only thing?

I just Realized...if Izwack is going...should I wear a tie and perhaps wear fancy shoes?

I'm bringing my 6yr. old son along. As far as mine, I maybe adding a shackle and spring spacers on. So pretty much I stock. Victor

umm... not alot of activity on this thread in quite awhile. Just a free bump and to check on its status..

I'm dissapointed you even asked -- a tie, some nice dress pants, and a fancy pair of shoes is the minimum.

I'm still planning to go. Unfortunately, I still don't have an exact destination :(. So if someone can give me an address where I should show up at, and what time to show up at, thatd be great :D.

And btw, that NJORVP.org website says "*CLOSED DUE TO POOR WEATHER*".

I'm not sure I can make it on the 28th now. If you guys wanna do it this weekend feel free, I dont wanna jerk anyone around. I might still be able to come on the 28th though, so if this comes together please keep posting the details.

im just goin to see izwacks whip....

Wait, Pine Barrens is a real place and not just in Sopranos. Do you think that abandoned van is still there?

Cmon guys! Is this a go or not?

Is this family style outing? How much is it? whats needed to go or who can go?
as in my first question...thanks:confused:

im in unless the swapmeet is that weekend....

I'm still in, just let me know when and where to meet. Victor

Okay when is this going to happen? Cauz I'm out this weekend I think, but I can make it the following weekend (28 and/or 29). And has anyone checked as to whether or not the trails are closed? I'm willing to go for a 1-day run, thatd be fun just to kind of meet new people.

And whats this trail like? No mud please  -- sick of it :o

hey we just got 9 inches of rain...bare with us on the mud...im still in...

Just makeing sure we are still on for the run, doesn't matter to me what weekend. All I need to know is when and where we should meet. I recommend at the atsion ranger station, it's easy to find and to get to. That way we can get some maps and what trails we can go on. Victor
