well i would take a picture to show you a comparison, but i seemed to have scratched the glass on my plasmaglow from a previous swap out...

what i noticed was that the silverstars were yellow... bright but yellow compared to the plasmaglows... the plasmaglow were a crisp white, and i mean white as in HID white.

id say silverstars are better because they are brighter and mostlikely illuminate more, but if your looking for white light, plasmaglow is the way to go...

im sticking with the plasmaglows because... 1) they dont get as hot as the silverstars (or atleast not as quick as the silverstars), 2) they were white, which is the look im going for, 3) the price is just the same as the silverstars i had purchased online (about $37 including shipping)... while silverstars at the store are $50+ tax

its too cold outside to go messing around with this right now, but when i go back to work ill try to do a comparison with a single headlight on

yes but are the plamaglow D.O.T. approved and can you actually see in the rain with them? Silverstars are wonderful for everything even if they are a little yellow

i dont know yet... hasent rained in a while, ill let you know when it rains

are they DOT approved or illegal ones

ill check that for you too... havent read the box they came in.

well the box doesnt say DOT approved... ill email the company and find out

yes they are dot approved... just got an email back from the company

I have to disagree with you. The Silverstars look kinda yellowish during the day. But at night they are a clear crisp white beam. No yellow at all.

maybe looking out at the road its white (def. not crisp white like your saying, the plasmaglows are crisp white)... but looking right at the headlight housing its yellow.... i did my tests when it was getting dark out... ill have to take a picture to compare

The silverstars does give a brighter shine looking out from your vehicle but it does appear yellowish looking in at them. I would hope that by installing a wire harness it would make it look whiter looking in.

I have Silverstars on my '99 XLS and love them to death.

Recently, I lost one to a bulb explosion (Knew I should have replaced the cracked lens) but I can't say I've tried Plasmaglows, nor seen them in stores.

i doubt you will see them in stores... the only place ive seen plasmaglow is online... but there probably are dealers somewhere

Well I must be damned color blind because I have silverstar's and have never noticed a yellowish tint ever, even durning the day    At night they are bright white on & off, and during the day there is no sign of a yellow color/tint at all, at least in mine there's not ;)

well if you never had anything whiter than silver stars of course they will look white to you
