I have a hornet 740T im trying to install and I have all the wiring colors from the12volt printed out, i have the installation manual.. BUT..

the wiring colors from the12volt dont match with mine. or maybe the ignition wire isnt in the wiring harness down by the drivers kickpanel???

can someone help me find the correct wires for this? It says its in the ignition harness... where is that?

Your ignition wire is in the ignition harness. The ignition harness is under the steering column, not in the drivers kick panel. You need to take off the under dash panel under the steering column to access it. Go to the following link and click on the 2004-2005 Ford Explorer. This will show you pictures. Keep in mind, the wiring colors may differ.
