Can't fix stupid....

That thing will never drive in a straight line again...

I was out at a mud bog in ohio last year, these guys trashed a 06ish f150. Ruined it. They were ripping through deep water, jumping it and all kinds of stuff. Now I beat up my explorer a bit but theirs was going to need towed. The whole truck was so bent the doors wouldn't close, the fenders were smashed/creased, the bumper was bent and 100% of the engine was covered in mud. They couldn't get it to start or stay running. Go figure!

Crazy what some people will do. This kid that lived down the street from me got a brand new raptor for his first truck and the thing was sitting U-shaped after the first week

That will all buff out. :D

I wonder if insurance will pay for that ? Before it was put on youtube, could've drug it out into a ditch somewhere and use the old deer ran out in front of me story.

wow. why anyone would do that is beyond me. even if i was super rich, trying to jump that in any type of large truck is playing with your life. other than the fact that they just destroyed a nice truck, they could have killed themselves.

I could think of 100 things I could do better with that truck. Such idiots. Although about halfway through the jump it looked like it could've happened in Hazzard County if it was an orange Charger.

I give it a solid 6.6 just because he didn't stick the dismount.

Oh I am sure the insurance paid for it and that's why our damn rates are so freaking high.

i actually know the owner of the truck.. he lives in denton texas.. his name is alex and he helps run the Rednecks with paychecks grounds.. that jump is at the actually park. they hold jump contest, rock racing, muddin competition..

Anywho, i think hes an idiot, but the low down on this was that they just finished the jump for the march event(trying to get my truck ready), he decided to put on a show of his own. He has no plans on trying to claim insurance as he knew he would most likely total the truck.. he was actually happy it was still in one piece.
This raptor on the other hands is his toy among 2 raptors, 2 ferrari's, and multiple other toys..
i told him he should have jumped one of the ferrari's!
at this point the raptor will be stripped cleaned and most likely be stuck on insane tractor tires.

As for the jump.. there is guys at these RWP events that jump $150k full blown rock buggies over 100ft to try an win the prize.
max

I don't care how many raptors and Ferraris he has, he coulda killed himself or others. Jumping in a super modified buggy is one thing, jumping that far in a raptor is insane.

He's familiar with that jump and still did that, idiot. He should've know what speeds he had to go to clear the down side of the next jump/ ramp. Must be nice to have that kind of money just to do a "hold my beer watch this $H!+" kinda thing in his $70k+ new truck.

if i ever bought a truck of that caliber, it wouldnt see a dirt road, let alone jumping it 90 ft. to its death. stupid dumb redneck makes the south look bad.

I would love to have a 2013 Raptor. I'm from Arkansas and I would never even think of doing something like that to a machine that beautiful. But, I'm not redneck so I guess that explains everything.

In fact when I had my Cobra, I took extremely good care of it. Had it for 4 years and only put 15,000 miles on it. I miss the hell out of it

i like to take care of my truck too, i dont ever offroad it and i cringe if i have to take it down a dirt road, aside from the fact that i have all of these offroad parts and is completely capable.

I would love to be that "Stupid dumb redneck" that "makes the south look bad"
he donates more than 100k of his own money every year to saint judes childrens hospital, and every RWP event that he runs, a portion of all procedes are donated to childrens hospitals, the local fire and police departments as well as other local business..

one thing, jumping that far in a raptor is insane.

This jump was well organized...
That was not a stock Raptor, the truck is is equipped with full harnesses, a 4 point cage, a full race ready suspension, and wheels and tires.. after the jump, he drove the truck back on the trailer..
so in other words, this wasnt a 70k Raptor.. its closer to a 130k Raptor..

im not saying he should have done it, i dont think he should have.. but the mans got the money and can do what he wants..

Nobody said he wasn't wealthy and generous.
Just sayin.

I think everyone agrees that it wasn't a smart decision or one they would make themselves.

When the Raptor came out, didn't Ford say: "you can jump this truck"? I'm pretty sure I remember hearing/reading that somewhere. Of course, they never defined how big of a jump......
