I got all new power steering lines for the ex. New high pressure hose and new return hose, new p/s cooler and cooler hose.

Im also trying to replace the 3 lines on the rack itself and NOWHERE carrys the lines needed. I thought they were just brake lines, they look and feel just like brake lines. However I tried going to oreilly's, advanced auto parts, home depot, ebay, and checked napa online and NONE of them have the correct thread size, not only they dont have the correct size but they dont even have a combination of adapters that will work. Its a 1/2inch coarse thread line. (I wrote down the thread size but dont have it on me, ill update with exact thread sizes) One is about 14 inches and the other is 22 inches. Cant find either anywhere.

If anyone has a bad steering rack laying around with lines in decent shape I would GREATLY appreciate it if you could sell them to me.

Spending $200 on a new rack isnt an option right now.

Thanks in advance.

No luck with the first 3. It's a 1/2-20 I believe. None that size.

Surplus only goes up to 3/8. I'm screwed.

Sorry, Frustrated. Shackle bushings, now this. It's a Ford Explorer, one of the most popular vehicles ever. Why are parts so hard to get? It's not an Astin Martin.

11760!!!!!

Looks like summit racing carrys the adapter I need too. Awesome. Ill get the bushings and adapter together.
