Power window issue drivers side only

Hey guys im new here. I mostly mess with ford trucks but my mom has an issue with her 2001 Explorer. The window intermittenly goes down when you push the up botton and will not go up at all. I took it apart and tested the motor and it goes up and down perfectly and the switch works fine. If I bypass the solid red wire going to the window motor right to the switch it goes up/down but it doesnt have the one touch down feature. I believe the one touch down switch may be bad but im not sure where it is located. Thanks in advance. Joe

Im going to the junk yard to rig it up unless someone has a good idea what is wrong. Its too cold to mess with this thing lol.
