ok i have a 97' XLT and i want to supercharge it.. Ive heard about the Powerdyne Superchargers. but i cant find one anywhere. So if anyone can tell me where to find one and also id like to hear from people that have them how they run.. thatd be great. thanks
Basically, I'd first try one of the local distributors listed and call them. They probably wont have it in stock but see how much it is for a special order. Then try another place - shop around until you find the best deal.
I installed a powerdyne on my 96 v8 back in 99. The truck made decent power. Powerdynes are belt driven internally and therefore do not make the kind of power a gear driven blower can.... but for an explorer its fine. I just talked to the guy the other day that bought my truck and its still running strong. Im about to buy another 5.0 explorer and if i ran across a cheap used powerdyne for sale, i would be interested in installing another.
wpurple all i saw on that site was that they rebuild them. they dont sell them. but thanks i appreciate it. if youve got any other sites feel free to share lol
