looking very sweet so far!!

Is the one-link attached by a heim? What size?

I think he mentioned Johnny Joints earlier.

Looks pretty cool. I haven't seen a one link in action before. I can't figure out how it will work, especially with it hard bolted to the Axle. What keeps the axle located laterally? Looks like you know what you are doing though, so I am up for learning some stuff. Those bags should be cool. Raise and lower the ride height quite a bit I bet- kinda like the sniper.

Look at a four wheeler swing arm. That is a 1 link and will help you get the concept.

Edit, after look at that a four wheeler would be a little different. Im actually confused like you now. lol

Yeah, I'm pretty lost on how this is all gonna go together too. How does the driveshaft go through the brace thing? It's suspended by leafs right?

i have some more pics i will send to you,but i have to get a new usb cable.

the pan hard bar is not built in those pics, that is what will stop the diffs sideways movements.
oh and it doesn't show well in the pics, but the pumpkin is off centered a little bit,and the upper link acually lays over to the oppisite side a little to give d-shaft clearance.the t-case output is above the front one link x-member,so the drive shaft is above the bottom links, nive and protected!
i kept the x-member back far enough to make a doubler work,so untill then,i think i am going to put a center support bearing in the d-shaft at the x-member,so the rear section of shaft follows the arc of the link.
the pan hard is done now,so pics are coming.

Ahh, now it makes sense. So really it is like a 2 link? Rag on the driveshaft. Keep you from smacking it. If I was going to run a center bearing I would pirate one from a Extended cab ranger or a full size ford.

ya,your right,it is more like a two link!we had a big argument on blackflag4x4 about that.some people seem to discount a pan hard as a link.

do you know if a 3/4 ton center support bearing is bigger than a half ton?

Nope, no idea which is bigger I just knew they had them. It doesn't really matter what it is called if it works. I think I understand it now. Any new progress?

not much more progress, like i said the trac bar is pretty much done, but i am waiting on a new third for the mog diff so i can install the portals and get the thing up on it's own wheels.can't wait!

holy crap SWEET !
it's about time someone tried this :D
i bet those boogers were $$$
i missed it if you said what tires you were gonna run.
can't wait til we get to crown you ground clearance king

thanks!
i have 39.5 iroks on the stock mog 20" rims.

well, the rear end is on the ground now,and the bags are semi operational.i only have them hooked together for now, with a schrader valve and a manual dump.
it sems to work pretty good, but it is still pretty tall even with the bags all the way dumped.it is huge when they are all the way filled!
i have the new pics if i can send them to you explorer-kid...
