Project Vehicle - 1998 Explorer Limited

I really like this idea. Unfortunately, the pricing on new vehicles these days are ridiculous. I'm hoping that after I negotiate the hell out of a new truck, the difference is made up with the money from the Explorer.

Also, make the deal on the new Ranger first, and then bring up the trade on vehicle. Don't put a trade into negotiations, dealers use that to cloud the price of what you are buying(they are very good at that, trust me).

But if you make a deal that can live with on its own, and then offer the trade, often you will get at least what you wanted for the trade(selling it on CL etc).

My journey with the Explorer is nearing its end. A good friend of mine from work is indeed buying it for his daughter to use as her first car. This came home with me last night.
