For those of you who may be looking into swapping seats from a 2011 (and possibly a 2012) Explorer into your PIU. It appears that the anchor for the front seatbelt retractor bolts to the seat rather than lower on the B-Pillar. The passenger side also has an additional plug that is not present on the 2013+ Explorers/PIUs. If you use the 2011 seats they still bolt up just fine but you will also need to overhaul the seat wiring harness on the passenger seat or else you will get an RCM code that improper equipment is installed. This happens even if you swap the OCS pad. If you are considering swapping in early 5th gen Explorer seats first check to compare the retractor lower anchor location.
On that note, if anyone has a spare PIU passenger seat that they would sell me the harness from, that would be great.
