Well i don't know if i would call it a sneak peak but since i live near road bully, I am almost positive i seen his truck drive by with a nice push guard(or what ever they are called) on it, maybe roadbully will see this and give us some info whether it was him or not.

edit: i looked at his site and it says that a brush guard is one of the projects hes working on, hopefully its not to long before we can get our hands on some of these

i thought he was making his own

i thought he was making his own

i THINK, I may be wrong, but I think he purchased the brush guard and was going to fab up a skid plate... i could be wrong.

thats lame every thing should be self built -

Is your lift going to be self built? NO your having someone do it. So i woundt classify that as being "self built". And the Man already has supplied us with lift spacers, and those were self made and desgined. which is the greatest way to achieve 2 inch lift. People have only so much time to do things in life and why waste the time on building something when it already exists and looks great.

i agree he has alot of stuff to take care in his personal life. he cant just focus his time on his ex

wow spacers they have done nothing but problems for me

oh he bought a set? i just assumed he made it because his website said he was planning to build a push guard on his projects page, thats too bad.. the only guard for sale that ive seen looks too plastic to be practical

Yea i bet you had problems, expecially because you had 1 inch lift coils and 3inch spacer.( i belive thats what you had, i read that is some thread) They have proven to work in over 30 some applications so its safe to say they do work and are great way to acheive a lift around 2 inches. Did you really think 1 inch coils and a three inch spacer would work when he only offers a three inch spacer max?

eather way they are not good at 3'' few other people with 3'' spacers have had problems spacers are a idea if you want to look like your truck can go off road

i would say get the 2'' and some beffy tires and then have you whife take it to the Grocery store

idk the extra ground clearance is all i need that way i dont get dead centered. i just got my set of 3/2.5 inch spacer and there going on pretty soon.

calling all cars,,

i notice a conspicuous(sp) absence of the man himself to describe what it really is,, maybe we call him out,,

HEY ROADBULLY<<<

what is the tail here,, , ,,,or is it a tale,, ???

lol,,,

you cant be serious

u said your self you were building a kit with you buddie

these spacers are not going to improve you handleing just compress the shock ....

think about it yeah maybe taller but do you think your stk control arms can handle that stress -

hmmmmmm

let me know what you find

Sorry to keep you all waiting.. I didn't realize it was a big secret.
I have my rock sliders almost done, and my rear bumper with tire carrier about half done.
I just didn't have time to do a front grille guard too, and I couldn't beat the price.
It's nice and sturdy, and yes, I'm also fabbing up a skid plate to go with it.
Lame... well that's a matter of opinion... I don't know about you, but I do all my own work and plenty of work for others, so forgive me for actually buying something.
I also got some taillight guards.
Cheers

Just wondering, what is your estimated total time spent on that ex?

I'd say about 15 hours shop time if I was on the clock.

VanHendrix,

Not sure if you have anything done do your explorer, but fire me a PM, maybe we can get out wheeling sometime.

Cheers

Ben

yes my buddy is gonna start on a lift but he is using a mock up frame of my truck so i can keep my miles off my car. i drive the mounty more then anything so... we are planing on hitting up his buddies junk yard and chopping the front section of the frame then the rear.

for the time being i will have the roadbully spacers and will use them for a good amount off roading. till i get my full lift done ill take my 6 inches and be more then happy.

roadbully good to hear from you and i cant wait to see the new toys.
