I am curious about the flexible stainless steel wire loom that may come in a KC Daylighter kit. I've seen the loom on the wires on trucks with KCs on them, but I've never gotten a close look at the loom. I am interested in getting some of the flex stainless from KC to cover some wires on my vehicle, so my question is: how does the loom go onto the wire?? Does the wire need to be fed through it before connection, or can it be pushed over the wire somehow with the wire already connected at both ends??

The wire loom has to go on over the wires first. It's a Stainless Steel spiral wound tube (Like the gooseneck on a lamp) so there is no cut in it like a conventional plastic loom under the hood.

Thanks a lot Jeff,
I'm kinda disappointed now cause I like the way that stuff looks, but my wires are already connected at both ends. I guess I'll have to keep looking for a nice looking loom. Any other ideas as to what I can use besides the black plastic stuff??
