Hey guys, hope this was the right place to post this, but right now Im not sure what to order.

I'm thinking about a flowmaster exhaust or a CAI, or some sweet hood scoops, or those gauges from l3racing, or anything anyone can think of that would be sweet for under $100? Thanks a lot guys.

Unless your putting holes in your hood and going to link them to the intake I wouldn't think of getting the scoops, Go with performance! :D

flowmaster is way more than 100 unless your just getting the muffler which alone you wont see real gains from. how about a cheap lift?

I was just going to get a muffler, so a new air intake would give more more power?

oh forgot about that lift, i havent found a lift for under $100 or so, only thing i saw has been shackles.

I bought a Raptor Turbo muffler, Im guessing its an offbrand, off ebay for $25 w/ free shipping. I'll post up a video of how it sounds when I get it on.

lol, i guess at the worst, you only got screwed by 25 bucks.

depending on your emission laws...cut your cat off or get a high flow cat.

here in ky there are no emission laws and no inspection so the cat comes off of every vehicle i buy within a week of buying it.

coil packs won't give you a really noticeable hp improvement without other mods, but i will give you an improvement and is a good investment!

Yes, I will probably get a high flow cat soon. But I think the next thing that im going to pick up would be the CAI, which I might drive up to Checkers, I guess they have piping there and the filters.. but don't I need some kind of adapter for the MAF sensor or that thing. Or can I fabricate my own? I have access to some tool for that kind of stuff at my school shop.

your cheapest and best bet is to search on here and look at the write-ups on how to make your own short ram intake

Yes, i saw the thread with the pvc piping, I think I will pick some up.

Well, I received the muffler yesterday, If I didnt tell you guys what kind it is its a FlowTech Raptor, I got it on, Ihave to buy some more pipe and another adapter, the muffler that came with the explorer was really long, probably the longest muffler I've seen on a car, so I'm short about a half a foot or so. Right now its not loud at all. It sounds a littler tuffer that a stock muffler but I think it would be louder if i would get rid of the cat? It sounded really nice without a muffler though.. I'll see if I can get a video posted next week. oooh maybe ill just get an audio clip for ya. Cya guys later
