R&P and Locker Shopping

I finally got the 8.8 axle (3.73 LS) swapped into the wife's Jeep TJ, and now it's time to start searching for new ring and pinions sets (4.10) and a full Detroit locker. I tried the search, but didn't come up with much.

I'm hoping you all have done the leg work with your rigs, and have found the best prices out there, and can recommend where to go.

i have brand new 4.10 gears for the 8.8 genuine gear brand for $85 plus shipping. thats prolly yer best bet for cheap gears that are brand new still in box... let me know. and if yer not dead set on a detroit locker... for $250 u can get an aussie locker shipped to you. its like a lock rite only stonger...

I found it more cost effective to simply swap in a 4.10 axle instead of paying to have someone set up a ring & pinion. Now, I've had Forum members tell me that the pricing quotes I've received are high (anywhere from $400 to $700). But, I paid $125 for the axle and I couldn't find anyone to set-up an R&P for that cheap. Also, it's possble to remove & replace the axle without cracking the brake lines, if that's a concern.
