Ranger front end on Gen 1 X

I was wondering how well a 1998 Ford Ranger front end would match up to a Gen 1 X. Or if there would be alot of body work involved. Also, do you think he used the fenders from the Ranger of the original X fenders? Here is a pic of one already done. Looks damn sweet.

Man, I haven't seen that thing in forever. He used to be in the top ten every day on cardomain. He claims it fits right up but there is a lot of mods to do. It's different, but definetly not for a novice (Unless you have a ****** wallet)

Um that truck is not using a 98 Ranger front....those headlights are from a Range Rover or a Cadi (cant remeber), thew bumper cover who knows, and the grill guard I believe is hiding all the mismatched lines. That truck's nose is all custom, I remember when it was first posted here.

Now if you want a 98 Ranger front on your first gen Ex, your best bet is a fiberglass conversion front end, like what Rick has on the Pumkin

Maybe it's me, but look how the hood matches with the fenders. Maybe it isn't closed all the way but I don't know, It just dosen't look right.

Yea, that hood defenitely does not line up and those are range rover head lights. Looks like alot of work for not that nice of a result, although defenitely custom.

Yeah I bet if you removed the grille gaurd that thing would look worse than Frankenstein. On the other hand do you ever find yourself staring at he pumpkin thinking... wow. That is cool. You know I need to ask Rick where he had those doors made. Those things are really cool. I love how they use the stock hinges and striker.
