Welcome to the forums, and yes.. the bolt pattern is right both are 5x4.5, not sure about the backspacing/offset though. Might rub the wheel wells/frame up front?
Do a search on the forums, find out the offset/width of the rims you have, then the 2011 mustang ones.. then you can buy spacers to make up for the difference. Should be relatively easy to find!
I think your ranger has 15 or 16x7? with a 3.5in backspace? But don't quote me!
EDIT -- Example: If your ranger has 7in wide rims with 3.5in backspace, I think the mustang's are 8in wide, if the mustang were to have 5in of backspace you'd need 1.5in spacers to get the backspace back to 3.5in. Though it will stick those wheels out a bit, which may or may not look good.
I havent gotten to measuring the backspacing/offset but my current stock rims read 15x6 on my 01 ranger and the gt ponys are 18x8. Any ideas on what size spacers?
So on the mustang 18x8 wheels the backspacing is : 6" and the offset: 50.8mm.
What size spacers should i use for comfortable clearance that doesnt stick out too far?
Thank you for your input, i did go to the shop and talk to them, they said never use spacers and you are right, plus i got the size on tires that will give me no problems. Thankso
