Sounds like a fuel delivery issue when under load

Turned out to be the plugs.they where all fouled out put new ngk plus this morning runs great.does anyone know what the rpm’s should be around 80 with 33s and the 4.56 gears I feel that it’s a little high but I don’t know because my rom gauge works when it wants too and does anyone know how I can adjust my Speedo for the bigger tires and gears (there is no sensor on the t case or trans)5 speed manual 4.0ohv

It’s a Hall effect sensor, not a geared one. You’d have to correct it with a two way scanner.

Me too! How I ended up w an extra set of 4.55 Yukon gears for a ttb

It goes back to the old days when the first 95 trucks came out it went around here on ef that they are still reverse rotation all theee years I thought the same so I ordered gear sets…..
Wrong!!

Are you interested in selling those reverse rotation gears? I have a ford ranger TTB that they would work in. I messaged you.
