really confused

after disconnecting my battery to see if the airbag light for the steering wheel would go off and I put it back together and now it will not start any ideas please help I have a 2000 Ford Explorer 6 cylinder 4 door

I believe you triggered the PATS alarm.

after market remote start?

Do you have an after market remote start system installed? If so, that may be the source of your problem. Otherwise, this link may help: Ford Explorer Engine No Start Procedure

thanks for all the responds no aftermarket security but aftermarket unlockdoor button charging batt. checked and cleaned fuses,l will be checking relays later on
