i did a search but didint find any answers. i was at the j/y getting a rear bumper for my 92 exploder. and after i got the 4 nuts on the u shaped thing that goes through the frame out. i still couldnt get the bumper off. do u have to knock those lose with a hammer(which i didnt have) or are those affixed to the bumper mount? i tried for over half an hour to get the bumper off but it was no go. i ended up leaving with a set of navajo tails which are currently in my garage drying after just being niteshaded, although im probably going to have to clean them off. i think i shaded them too dark dont want to get pulled over or hit by another car.

I've only known the 4 bolts to hold it on. May need some force if its rusted though.

You have to remove the U-shaped bolts completely. Once they are out, the bumper just drops off. They should just push back through the frame fairly easily.

Yes, remove the 4 nuts and bolts completely. After that it should literally fall off, and if not, then I wouldn't buy it because it probably has a ton of rust.

thanks thats what i kind of thought. ill have to take a BFH with me next time. lol
