Rear climate console '97 Exp

Hey all! I'm having an issue with the fan in the armrest console in my '97 Exp. Seems the little blend door (? vent thing...) was actually broken, like, in pieces (can you say small child) and now the fan itself has stopped rotating. I've changed every fuse even remotely related to that back fan but no luck.

Is there a relatively easy way to access that part of the console in the back? I've read instructions on how to remove the whole console, seat belt receptacle (thanks! need that one too lol) looked for an exploded view of that console.. not having a lot of luck. I see that I can remove the console which would surely allow me access to that little fan assembly but... hoping for some expert advice.

Any advice, folks?

I was wondering the same thing! Did you ever get an answer to whether the rear fan and actuator can be accessed without pulling out the entire console?
