I need to get to one last bolt - near the xfer case to remove. I raised rear end, spun the tires, still no movement. Front driveshaft is off. The drive line has to move! Can Any one tell me wtf I am missing? Other tidbits: The torque converter is out of tranny. Have no idea why that would even matter! HELP! -DW Thanks.....

Trans in neutral? Parking brake off? (I know, dumb questions...)

Yep, brake is off and in Neutral. Don't think Neutral matters because TQ is off. I was just using the tranny bell-housing to the get the new motor swapped in and lined up to test motor. Just saw a video where a guy only lifted the driver side wheel, and only spun that wheel. He didn't show it, but said that's how he got driveline to move. Would that make sense? Thanks! -DW

Just chock the passenger side wheel and only lift up drivers side. That allows for drive line to move when turning drivers side rear wheel.

transfer case is in 4wd and the drivetrain is locked via the front driveshaft?
