Rear Hatch

I know it's a silly question but, is removing the rear hatch as straightforward as it looks? Just unplug the wiring from the body, pop out the struts, and unbolt from hinges?

I definitely searched before asking this and looking like an idiotbut couldn't find anything.

I have never done that before. Do you have an Explorer repair book? It might be in there.
