Welcome to the Forum :wavey:.I have a rattle in the rear passenger door "area" of my 2011 XLT. I can't seem to pinpoint the exact location. Has anyone had this problem? I drives me nuts.
If indeed it is something loose in the door I would think that you would also be able to produce it by banging on it or when you close it. If not it might be something else. Has someone ridden back there and positively isolated it as being the door? Sounds can be very tricky to pin down sometimes. This occurs when I hit a bump or pothole in the road. Sounds like 2 pieces of metal hitting each other. Window position doesn't matter. It isn't the seatbelt hitting the pillar, I checked that.

UPDATE: I have pinpointed the problem to be the coat hanger holder above the rear door. It was loose and caused the rattling of some metal parts behind it. I tightened it down and it seemed to fix the problem (for now). Thanks for all the suggestions to my problem.
