first off its a 96 explorer eddie 4wd. i've done a TT and shackles and 1.5 inch wheel spacers on the rear so far with 32s. i've recently noticed my rear wheels ain't centered. driver side sticks out almost 2 inches further than passenger side. any ideas on why and how to fix it? thanks guys

If there's no visible incorrections, like possibly your leaf springs being bent/damage, I'd check your body mounts first. I noticed after I did my body lift my front end was just a tad on the driver's side from me lifting it incorrectly, a winch fixed that. So.. it may just be worth it to go up under there and take some measurements from body to frame on both sides to see first if your body has slide to one side due to possible rusty/broken body mount locations.

just a start.. it should be fairly easy for you to spot whats off as our Explorers are so square in the rear :p:

thanks for the advice i will check it out in morning and post back

i got under there and checked it out. body is still aligned properly but my axle is not centered over the leaf springs. aint there a alignment holes on the axle that the pin from the springs go thru? springs are straight and it doesnt look like the ubolts have slid any. any other ideas?

Are you saying the axle looks like it slid drivers side a little so the spring perches don't line up with the springs themselves?

Take a picture of that if you would..

The pin that holds the leaf spring pack together should have a head on it that fits into a little hole on the spring perch, keeping the axle centered between the two leaf springs. From what it sounds like your saying, possibly the axle has jump off the heads of those to pins and offcentered itself from the leaf springs.

those are still lined up. all i have is my cell and i dunno how to load pics up thru my cell.

Something is bent in a big way if it's off by 2 inches.
