so i just pulled out my 5 speed.... and its lookin like either a full out rebuild or a straight out swap. which one would be cheaper? And if you know of anyone or where that can get me a good price on a transmission out in portland oregon, or nearby, please let me kno!!!!!!

Judging by your screen name, swap it for v-8 power.

How much are parts vehicles, wrecks in your area? You may be able to score a whole parts truck for the cost of a rebuild. Just make sure its a 4.0. The bolt patterns are different between all the 6 cyl engines.

I plan on the v8 once my other car is done... I have been looking for about 2 weeks for parts cars and cant find anthing but autos! erg!!
