Recommend me a Head Unit

I need to start modifying my system and am looking first at Head Unites. In your opinion, can you tell me the best unit I can get for under or around $200?

I have the Pioneer DEH-P6300, it is a great head unit, which I upgraded from some cheap sony xplode one. I don't know how much either costs, though, because I paid for neither one! The sony one had a display like a digital clock or a factory head unit, with the 7 bars or however many to display each letter/number. The Pioneer is one with pixels, I have no idea how many it has, but it is better than the sony, but not anything like an HDTV. I recommend the Pioneer unit though, and as I always do, recommend Alpine. Or Kenwood.

Pioneer and Alpine have always been my favorites, it seems to me the Alpines are easier to figure out, but they both have a quality sound and - in that price range- shoud have the features that turn out to be convenient if you want to add an amp or amps later..

Do you want single din or double din? You are going to have a lot more options at that price point going with a single din with a pocket.
