Ouu I cant wait to see what you do with the doors!

That door was off my 05 that i flopped on its side. Thats why its in such poor shape which made it a perfect canidate for cutting up. The more I look at cut up in its current shape, Im going to take out the mirror mounts and really open the door up.

I decided I didnt like how much was cut out. If Im going to make halfdoors I might as well really open them up.

Im using this design for the A pillar on my cage. It will allow me to get a dash going before the whole cage is built so I can at least get my steering wheel mounted.

The coolant tank and washer fluid tanks have been relocated to make room for my coilovers and towers. There was some fuel evap parts on the driverside that were relocated also. I took out the stock battery tray and moved the fuel evap stuff there.

The picture with the slider on the jack is just to show how they will look. The gap between the body and the slider will be a bit smaller as that is as high as my jack goes. There will be at least 1-2 more legs to the frame added for the slider I just dont have them made yet. I know it seems kind of backword to work on the sliders before the suspension but I need part of the 4x2 box that I used for the sliders for another portion of the truck so I cut them and started making them.

Passenger side frame plates. (3/16th)

Axle with 1.25" spacers on. The narrow track waggy D44 I have is about 61" WMS to WMS, these will help me clear my coilovers and lower links.

Sliders are done just waiting to weld them on.

I made a heater box block off plate. I took the heat and AC off the truck and doing so left a huge hole in the firewall. I have a 4x8' sheet of 1/8" so I used some of that. It needs 2 more bolts on the far right, the other four are in existing spots.

I removed the stock seat mount bracket that is spot welded to the floor. That left like 20 little holes I had to weld up.

Did you ever have a plan to keep the stock dash or was it just not worth it?

it looks sweet keep up the good work

Im going to make a sheetmetal dash integrated into the cage, I was originally going to keep the stock dash but decided what the hell might as well go all out.

The rain held off for today so I was able to deal with my transfer case clearance problem.

Started by cutting a nice big old hole in the floor.

DSC_0180.jpg

I then jacked the back of the trans up as much as possible with out hitting the rest of the trans tunnel. Im just shy of a flat belly on the truck. To get the extra inch I would need I would have to do some really major surgery on the trans tunnel which isnt really worth it.

Next I started patching the floor back up. I used the peices I cut out, just flipped them over. I ran out of gas for my welder at this point so tomorrow Im going to get a refill and if its not raining continue and if it is Im going to work on my half door.
