I didn't think it was one of his better ones, but still relevant and interesting. Is it true that the 2014 turn signal returns to center? On my 2016 it does not.

I believe that's true.

Ford did the same thing in (at least) the 2013 Taurus. In 2016, I believe Ford abandoned the concept in the Explorer. Too much negative feedback.

I never minded it as it seemed like the lack of a lock-in felt like one less mechanical piece to fail. Family members on the other hand found it frustrating and confusing.

I almost prefer the non-lock system, honestly. It felt more premium without the cheap click and perfect amount of resistance.
