Mine has 72K on it so I can't speak first hand but you see a lot of Explorers with 200K + miles on them.

mine has 89 thousand but i had a mountaineer with 198 thousand when i sold it only thing i redone was front end. it is still running around in my town 2 years later and i talked to him other day and its up to 240 thousand and no problems

i have 167k on my 01 put a rebuild transmission in at 78k need to replace upper & lower front ball joints other then that it runs great

I bought mine with 79k and it now has 154k. I just replaced the shocks and front sway bar end links and it feels like a new truck.

I'm expecting to get many more (good) miles out of it.

04' with 111k on it. purrs like a kitten; or like a badass pterodactyl.

I have 120k on my 02 and still runs like new.

I have 209K on mine and have had it since new, I have put shocks and brakes on it a few times and tires of course, other than general maintenance it has been a great vehicle.

I sold a 94 explorer with 180,000 miles on it. the guy is still driving it. When i sold it it needed a new seal on the gas tank and the 4x4 needed fixin but other than that i put 180k on it doing limited maintenance. oil changes every 3500, tranny pan got dropped once a year, differential fluids every 2 years and power steering fluid every 2 years. Only thing i ever had to replace was belts, spark plugs and a power steering pump.

the sport trac and the explorer are very close in design, i cant imagine much differences drive train wise. but as with anything mechanical...preventative maintenance is key.

The engines run forever, the trannys are on borrowed time after 100k if they aren't flushed every 30k. Change the t-case lube and lube in the axles too.

thanks for the reminder, I am overdue for a new trans filter. I am going to put a drain plug in this next time so it is easier for the next time.

mine has 190K I bought it new and have taken good care of it and it still runs great, had to replace both front hub bearings(180K), brakes and shocks twice, like a new truck,, I love it
