Remote Keyless Entry Problem

Hey guys. My key fob quit working the other day. I put a new battery in it and it still doesn't work. I tested the new battery and its good. I searched around before I posted this but didn't find anything. Does anyone have a suggestion or answer to help fix my problem?

Try to reprogramm.if not worked replace the whole key fob with fresh factory one.they are costs kinda cheap .

So I unhooked the battery for an hour or so and hooked it back up and the FOB works now.

Odd, I was going to suggest checking on whether it has a rubber dome type internal switch contact, sometimes those made of silicone rubber can start releasing silicone oil which fouls the circuit board contacts, then circuit board contact area can be cleaned with a dry paper towel and the rubber scrubbed with a toothbrush and strong, hot, detergent solution.
