I am replacing the factory amp and sub and putting a new 2ch amp and 2 12's in. I kept the factory 6disc changer. I have 2003 Explorer Sport. I wired it all up, used a low level line converter (For the RCAs) and turned it on and all I "feel" from the subs is a small bumping with the rhythm of the music. Like they are trying to push but only about as much as 6.5" speaker!
I had them in my old car so I know they and the amp are good. Also, the factory sub is still in and I want to take it out but don't know how. I think this may be what is causing it, but where are the wires to take out the sub located? I took off the back quarter right panel and found the sub but no amp.
Any suggestions?
